Fraud prevention
Stop fraud before it starts.
Most scams follow the same pattern. Keep payment, agreements, and messages inside Let's Be Friends so review, reports, and payment protection can apply.
- Keep payment in the app.Never pay by cash, transfer, gift card, or outside link. The member total, including the service fee, is shown before sending, and funds are reserved only when the Companion accepts.
- Keep agreements in writing.Confirm task, time, place, duration, price, boundaries, and what counts as complete in booking chat. Do not accept changes sent only by text, call, or social message.
- Check identity and approval signals.Book only approved Companions with verified identity, visible Strengths, boundaries, categories, ratings, and reviews. Be cautious with blank profiles, urgent pressure, or rates far below similar listings.
- Keep contact details private until trust is earned.Do not share your exact address, home location, ID photos, or financial details in chat. Meet in a bright public place when possible and arrange your own transport.
- Pause on urgency or secrecy.End the conversation if someone asks for secrecy, off-app payment, advance fees, personal favors, romantic or adult activity, or unlicensed regulated work. These are never allowed.
- Tell someone your plan.Share the agreed time, public place, and expected return with a trusted person. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Stop if the situation becomes unsafe.
In an emergency, leave first. Contact local emergency services after reaching safety. Reporting to Let's Be Friends comes after you are safe and never replaces emergency help.
Reporting
Report in seconds. No evidence required.
Profiles, posts, messages, bookings, and reviews can all be reported from the item itself. A participant booking report pauses unsettled funds for safety review.
- Send the report from the profile, post, message, booking, or review.Describe what happened in your own words. Private check-in photos are optional.
- A reviewer triages the report.Reviewers can check context, hide content, suspend profiles for policy violations, and leave internal notes. Every decision is audit logged.
- Money and evidence stay protected during review.Unsettled booking funds stay paused until a full admin records a resolution. Private evidence can be retrieved only while a linked report is active, and access is audited.
Technical and policy details
Identity: AI extracts editable fields from the government ID, then the member takes a current camera selfie. The selfie is not sent to the AI, face matched, or treated as biometric liveness proof. Every completed submission receives an explicit safety-team decision.
Payments: The member sees one booking total that includes the service fee. Acceptance reserves the total; mutual completion begins a 24-hour pending period.
Private booking evidence: The Companion decides at the start and the member decides at the end. Each may upload a private image or explicitly skip after a warning. Retrieval requires an active linked report and is audit-logged.
Reports: Participant booking reports block unsettled wallet funds until a full admin records a resolution.
Frienday guide
Meet. Help. Earn. Make everyday life easier.
A Frienday is the agreed time when a Friend and a Friender meet and complete a booked activity. In this guide, Friend means the Companion offering help and Friender means the member booking help. Every Frienday has a clear task, an agreed time and place, a confirmed price, clear boundaries, three check-ins when required, and completion confirmation before payment.
How a Frienday works
Nine steps from profile setup to review. Keep every agreement and change inside the app.
- Set up your profile. Use your real identity. Friends list only services they can safely and legally perform.
- Find the right match. Frienders browse profiles or post a task. Friends respond only when the task fits their skills and comfort.
- Chat and agree in writing. Agree on task, date, meeting place, duration, price, materials, boundaries, and what counts as complete.
- Confirm and fund the booking. The Friender confirms and loads the amount. Payment stays reserved until completion. Keep payment in the app.
- Meet and take the first selfie. Meet in a well lit public place when possible. Both people take the First Friend Selfie in the app.
- Take the mid session check-in. Around halfway, both people take the Second Friend Selfie. Approve changes to task, time, or price in the app.
- Take the final check-in. At the end, both people take the Third Friend Selfie before separating. The Friender reviews completion.
- Payment is released. Reserved payment moves to the Friend after confirmation or after the stated window ends with no dispute.
- Leave an honest review. Both people may rate each other. Keep reviews truthful, relevant, and free of private details.
Three Friend Selfie check-ins
Selfies support check-in and safety steps. They do not prove all work was complete and do not replace emergency services.
- First Friend Selfie. At the start: Confirms both people met and the Frienday began.
- Second Friend Selfie. Around the midpoint: Confirms the Frienday is continuing as agreed.
- Third Friend Selfie. At the end: Records the end before completion and payment review.
Frienday safety rules
Meet in a well lit public place when possible. Confirm the person matches the profile before continuing.
Before the Frienday
- Keep chat, booking details, and payment inside the app.
- Read ratings, reviews, descriptions, and qualifications.
- Tell a trusted person where you go and when you expect to return.
- Arrange your own transport and keep a way to leave.
During the Frienday
- Follow the agreed task, schedule, price, and boundaries.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
- Stop if the situation becomes unsafe.
In an emergency
- Leave first, then contact local emergency services.
- Report to Let’s Be Friends only after reaching safety.
Activities that are not allowed
These may not be requested, offered, or completed through Let's Be Friends.
- Illegal activity or help with a crime.
- Sexual services, exploitation, or trafficking.
- Violence, threats, intimidation, harassment, or hate based conduct.
- Weapons tasks or activity meant to harm.
- Drug sales, illegal substances, or unsafe intoxication.
- Fraud, impersonation, cheating, false documents, or deceptive testimony.
- Surveillance, stalking, or locating someone without consent.
- Unlicensed regulated work when a license is required.
- Unsafe work without training, protective equipment, or legal permission.
- Any romantic, adult, hazardous, or inappropriate service involving a minor.
A simple Frienday promise
By booking or accepting a Frienday, both people agree to:
- Be honest about identity, needs, skills, and qualifications.
- Keep important agreements in the app.
- Respect consent, privacy, time, property, and boundaries.
- Follow the three check-ins when they apply.
- Keep payment on the platform.
- Follow local laws and platform rules.
- Leave and report the booking if it becomes unsafe.
